Special Events & Programs

Program registration is processed on a first come first served basis. You may register by phone, (860) 677-9222, in person, by mail or online. Payment options are credit card, check, or cash. Your membership must be current at the time the program meets in order to receive the member discount. Museum staff reserves the right to cancel classes for insufficient enrollment. You will be notified at least three working days in advance if a program is cancelled. Cancellations with at least forty-eight hours notice will receive a refund.

An evening of warmth, magic and tradition...

An improved supper menu served on Colonial tinware and a choice of ale for a beverage!

The popular once-a-year event features a warm supper in the Whitman Tavern, followed by a tour with costumed actors portraying Connecticut's changing holiday traditions from 1720 through 1899. New dramas and an expanded program are featured in this year's event. Register early to book the tour time of your choice as tickets are limited!

Directions:

Museum members $15 and non-members $18. Children ages 6 and younger are free. Registration is required. Guests register for a specific tour time between 5:00 and 8:00 pm. Once you register for the program, staff will call you to schedule you for the tour time of your choice.
